In this talk I will give an overview of my joint work with Professor Toshiyuki Kobayashi.
For the pair of indefinite orthogonal groups (G, G') = (O(p + 1, q + 1), O(p, q + 1)), we
construct and completely classify all symmetry breaking operators from degenerate
principal series representations
