Weyl group multiple Dirichlet series over the rational function field

Weyl group multiple Dirichlet series are series in several complex variables built from data attached to root systems; they satisfy a group of functional equations isomorphic to the Weyl group of the root system that intermixes all of the variables. These types of series arise as Fourier—Whittaker coefficients of metaplectic Eisenstein series and have applications, for example, to mean values of $L$-functions. I will discuss these series in the rational function field setting where, similar to zeta functions associated to curves defined over finite fields, they are rational functions (in several variables).
