Abstract: Recently, heat kernel estimates on manifolds with ends has been obtained by Grigor'yan and Saloff-Coste, and the speaker. In view of these results, it is natural to ask whether the Poincare inequality holds or not on these manifolds. In this talk we give an answer of this question. This talk is based on a joint work with Alexander Grigor'yan and Laurent Saloff-Coste.
