I will discuss a construction of low-defect quasimorphisms on right-angled Artin groups. These quasimorphisms are sufficiently abundant that every non-trivial element is "seen" by one. This leads to a uniform gap theorem for stable commutator length in these groups. The construction is geometric, and relies on some tools we developed for groups acting on CAT(0) cube complexes.
