I will discuss a construction of low-defect quasimorphisms on right-angled Artin groups. These quasimorphisms are sufficiently abundant that every non-trivial element is "seen" by one. This leads to a uniform gap theorem for stable commutator length in these groups. The construction is geometric, and relies on some tools we developed for groups acting on CAT(0) cube complexes. This is joint work with Talia Fernós and Jing Tao.
