We will explore one of the most exceptional objects in mathematics, the Leech lattice. We will construct it using 26-dimensional Minkowski spacetime, then discuss its awesomeness. Applications include stacking spheres efficiently, sending messages to distant spacecrafts, maximizing kissing numbers and winning a bottle of Jack Daniels.
