I will talk about Perelman's pseudo-locality theorem for an extended Ricci flow, coupled with a heat equation. As an application, we prove that any complete noncollapsed solution to this coupled Ricci flow with type I singularity converges to a nontrivial Ricci soliton, after suitable parabolic rescaling.
