In this talk, I will summarize the accessible portions of my research into nonstandard models of words (with prefix and equal length relations and operations to add letters on to the end of words). This will involve a brief discussion of first order logic and what a nonstandard model is, but will focus mainly on the weird oddities that show up in these nonstandard models.
