Eskin and Mirzakhani showed that $SL_2$ invariant measures in strata of translation surfaces are always nice. What about horocycle-invariant measure? I will present a paper by Bainbrige, Smillie and Weiss about the classification of horocycle-invariant measures in the $(1,1)$-stratum.
