Scholze recently reproved the Local Langlands Conjectures for GL(n) over p-adic fields. His realization of the correspondence is relatively simple and explicit, and uses a minimum of "global input." I will give a brief summary of the Local Langlands Conjectures for GL(n), then spend the rest of the time summarizing Scholze's proof.
