A recent article by Joshua Bowman and Ferrán Valdez introduced the concept of linear approaches and rotational components to characterize the topology of discrete singularities on infinite translation surface. We will construct several classes of examples of infinite translation surfaces and analyze the set of linear approaches and rotational components of their singularities.
