Braverman and Yampolsky studied the (theoretical) computability of Siegel Julia sets by transferring the problem to the computability of conformal radii of Siegel disks. Using a result of Buff and Chéritat about Yoccoz's function and the conformal radius, they showed that the conformal radius is always right-computable but not necessarily computable. I will discuss the ideas in their proofs.
