In this talk, I will discuss connections between complex dynamics and arithmetic geometry. Specifically, I will address a question in complex dynamics, inspired by the Andre-Oort Conjecture from arithmetic geometry, and a question in arithmetic geometry (a theorem of Masser and Zannier) with a dynamical proof.
