Lionel Levine and Charles Smart receive 2014 Sloan Fellowships
The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has awarded Assistant Professors Lionel Levine and Charles Smart 2014 Sloan Research Fellowships; two of the of 20 individuals to received Sloan Fellowships in Mathematics in 2014. The award is designed to “…identify those who show the most outstanding promise of making fundamental contributions to new knowledge.”
Charles Smart will join the Department of Mathematics in July, 2014.
